Let’s start with a look at wireless camera frequencies. Three common types are available to consumers: 900MHz, 2.4 Ghz, and 5.8 Ghz. In general, the lower the frequency number, the more powerful the wireless camera. The increased power that accompanies a lower frequency means that your camera signal will be able to more effectively reach and pass through walls and other objects with the potential to block imaging.
